During a chat with Closer magazine, he shared what he spends on his food shop – which adds up to a whopping £2,000 a month. Gino told the publication: “Around £500 a week. “My first choice will always be a local market. I love the atmosphere and all the stallholders shouting. “I enjoy trying to strike a deal with the traders. “It makes me feel like Del Boy, and I usually come home with the freshest ingredients.” It comes after ITV cut ties with with Gino following allegations of inappropriate behaviour while making shows. Gino was accused of “sexually inappropriate” and “intimidating” behaviour as dozens came forward with complaints early last year. ITV subsequently sacked him and said they had “no plans to work with him again”. An investigation found there were multiple claims of “unacceptable,” “distressing” and “horrendous” treatment over more than 12 years. His legal team at the time said Gino “emphatically and unequivocally denies these allegations”. He was also edged out of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip after refusing to sign a morality clause. Last December, he was hit with fresh allegations of bullying and intimidation, days after his TV return — claims he also denies. ITV said that since their initial investigation was launched, they had not commissioned any further shows featuring the chef Gino has firmly denied all the allegations against him. Comment now
