Sex offender Stephen Bear is jailed again after breaking restraining order to launch vile online 'campaign of abuse' against Georgia Harrison

Stephen Bear was jailed for 16 months today for repeatedly breaching a restraining order to launch a vile online 'campaign of abuse' against his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison. The disgraced reality TV star, 36, was handed a five-year restraining order and jailed for 21 months in 2023 for sharing a sex tape of Miss Harrison on his OnlyFans page.A judge also ordered him to repay £22,305 that prosecutors said he earned from his subscribers. But after his release from prison, Bear breached his order by repeatedly posting degrading comments about Ms Harrison on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube. He sought to cast doubt on his convictions, including by alleging that Miss Harrison and her mother had conspired to pervert the course of justice. Bear – who arrived at court today with his pregnant Brazilian wife Miami, 19 – also created an online petition seeking support for a retrial and attempting to obtain Miss Harrison's bank statements. The 2016 Celebrity Big Brother winner persisted with posting despite several of his accounts being shut down.After the sentence was announced today, Miss Harrison said she was grateful to police because they 'took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked'. It is a real offence against a real person.'They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is.'If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today.'Judge Christopher Morgan gave Bear an immediate prison sentence and criticised him for 'victim blaming'. He said: 'Over three to four months you consistently posted messages of the most abhorrent and harmful type. You accused her of being a liar.'You accused her of perverting the course of justice in bringing lies to her evidence in the courtroom.'You accused her mother of being a liar and also accused her support throughout the course of the trial of manipulating the court process to get you into trouble.'I take the view, as you must understand, that your explanation and justification for doing what you did in that three to four month period is simply victim blaming.'You know what the terms of the order was. You understood the consequences and over a prolonged period you deliberately breached the court order. The sentence I impose must be immediate.'It comes after Bear appeared in court for breaching his sex offenders register requirements.Bear failed to inform police about a trip to Brazil last year and then failed to tell officers within three days that he had returned to the UK.He also did not mention that he had acquired a new passport and two bank cards during the trip.In January last year, Bear revealed he had relocated to Brazil with his new girlfriend, boasting: 'The police can't catch me now.' He used his platforms to amplify abuse and encourage others to target her, despite being expressly prohibited from doing so.'No woman should be made to live in fear because someone refuses to accept the restrictions placed on them by a court. Stephen Bear may have hidden behind a screen, but his actions had real-world consequences.'The CPS will always seek to prosecute those who threaten, harass or intimidate women and girls, whether that behaviour takes place in person or online.'
