It's been almost a year-and-a-half since Apple last released an episode of the hit sci-fi series. Dichen Lachman plays Gemma, and when her character was last seen in the Severance season 2 finale, she was being rescued by Mark. A new set video from @umsoyoudontknowme on TikTok showed Lachman filming a scene as Gemma, confirming the character's fate. Production is currently taking place at Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey, a filming location that has been used before for Lumon Industries. While in character, the actress wore blue jeans and a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt. As of this writing, the set video has received more than 62,000 likes on TikTok, with hundreds of fans taking to the comments section with their reactions. Some wondered why there was such a long wait to start filming Severance season 3 and joked that they won't get to see the show again until 2030, referring to the fact that there was a multi-year hiatus between the first two seasons. Others wanted Gemma to run and save herself, indicating they're worried about what's to come with her storyline after the season 2 finale cliffhanger. Before this video was released, some Severance season 3 set photos from Bell Works were also recently shared online, showing various cast and crew members at the filming location. Some local businesses were temporarily closing to accommodate the production. Severance, which premiered in 2022, stars Adam Scott as Mark, who works at Lumon Industries, a corporation in which workers separate their professional and personal life memories through the severance procedure that ensures they aren't aware of their other identity. Aside from Lachman and Scott, the show also stars Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette. Before landing the role of Gemma on Severance, Lachman had appeared on shows like The 100, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Shameless, Altered Carbon and Animal Kingdom, and starred in the films Raya and the Last Dragon, Jurassic World: Dominion and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
