A seven-year-old girl died after accidentally falling into a pond while participating in a community cleaning drive at Panunda in Eruvatty near Pinarayi on Sunday (October 11, 2026) morning.The deceased was identified as Mirza, daughter of Ranjith and Mafeeda, residents of Panunda. She was a Class 2 student.The accident occured around 7 a.m. when residents were engaged in their routine cleaning activities in the area.
