Seth Lundy shines at NBA Summer League as play concludes

The Penn State men’s basketball program sent two of its alumni – Seth Lundy and Ace Baldwin – to the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas this month. As the league concludes play on Sunday, one has emerged as one of its brightest participants. Seth Lundy, the former 46th overall NBA Draft selection by the Atlanta Hawks in 2023, has averaged 20.0 points over 27.1 minutes in four games for the Toronto Raptors. The mark ranked seventh in scoring average among players who appeared in at least four games during the 11-day summer league season. Lundy and the Raptors will close out play against Denver on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The game will air on ESPN2. Seth Lundy makes Summer League mark Lundy has been among the most efficient scorers, averaging 6.5 made field goals on 12.5 attempts per game (52.0 percent) while boosting his résumé as a 3-point specialist. His 3.5 makes from beyond the arc on 8.0 attempts per game (43.8 percent) have also been among the league’s best numbers, ranking fifth in makes entering Sunday’s action. On the boards, he has averaged 3.8 rebounds to go along with 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game in a well-rounded stat line. Among players to appear in four or more games during summer league action, Lundy’s plus-13 ranked fifth in plus/minus. He was also credited with a “game-saving block in the closing seconds” of a win against the Indiana Pacers. Lundy has spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers in addition to his initial stint with the Hawks. That run was short-lived, though, as his rookie season came to an end in May 2024 when he underwent surgery on his left ankle. Returning later that summer on a two-way contract with the Hawks, he was waived in December 2024. Picked up by the Clippers on another two-way deal in March 2025, Lundy was again waived later that summer. During his four-year career with the Nittany Lions, Lundy finished sixth in program history with 229 made 3-point field goals, helping guide the 2022-23 team back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade. Lundy is not currently under contract with the Raptors, but reports have suggested he could be in line for a two-way contract ahead of training camp. Ace Baldwin plays for Orlando Magic Along with Lundy’s standout performance, Baldwin also made his mark in two games with the Orlando Magic in Las Vegas. He averaged 4.5 points over 18.9 minutes per game, shooting 42.9 percent from the field while going 1-for-3 from 3-point range.
