Senate finance panel wants to finish budget hearings by Oct. 22

MANILA, Philippines — The budget hearings of the Senate finance subcommittees are anticipated to be finished by October 22, the chairperson of the panel, Sen. JV Ejercito, said on Wednesday. With the impeachment trial on pause, two weeks have been allotted for the budget hearings before the Senate’s second regular session resumes on November 9.
