Published September 6, 2026 08:24 PM The Seahawks have been saying very little about safety Nick Emmanwori’s recovery from offseason ankle surgery that happened in July. On Sunday, they were required to say one specific thing — whether and to what extent he practiced.On the first official injury report of the season, Emmanwori was listed as a limited participant, due to the ankle.The report comes one day after coach Mike Macdonald was asked whether he could characterize Emmanwori’s progress over the last month and said, “Not really.”Macdonald nevertheless praised Emmanwori’s handling of the overall process.“Nick’s been fantastic,” Macdonald said. “Our training staff has been fantastic, and it wasn’t an easy situation for him. He’s done a great job to work through all of that.”Not practicing on Sunday was safety Ty Okada (hamstring). Limited were guard Anthony Bradford (knee), receiver Tory Horton (hamstring), tackle Josh Jones (quadricep). Full participants were tight end A.J. Barner (oblique), cornerback Julian Neal (quadricep), and running back Emmanuel Wilson (hamstring).
