Scottie Scheffler drops ‘hardest ever’ truth bomb on PGA Championship pin locations

The World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is coming off a tough Friday at the PGA Championship. After entering the day tied for the lead at 3-under, Scheffler would shoot a 71 on Friday to drop a shot and move down in the leaderboard. As things stand right now, Scheffler is in a tie for 7th place at 2-under, three shots back of the leader, Aldrich Potgieter.After the round, Scottie talked to the media about how tough the pin locations were on Friday, and he was not shy about expressing his opinion. Maybe Shinnecock. It's different in a sense from this course because at Oakmont, those greens are extremely severe in one direction. Here, it is like, not as natural to the slopes; there is a bit more that is manufactured into the greens. It's just very difficult. It's difficult to get the ball close to the hole, and it's difficult to hole putts. That is why you see scores so close to par.”Scheffler was in the rough early and often on Friday. Starting on the back nine, he bogeyed three of his first four holes but managed to bounce back in a great way. He birdied the Par 3 17th, which has not been done often this weekend. Scottie would birdie the 4th and 9th on the front nine, but he did bogey the 6th.There are only two Par 5's at Aronimick.
