Scott Wolf reacts to estranged wife Kelley’s shocking apology, psychosis diagnosis

Scott Wolf publicly showed his support for his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, after she revealed she suffered “drug-induced mania with psychosis” last year. Kelley shared an emotional post Friday on Instagram, explaining her mental health crisis that made headlines due to her erratic behavior. She profusely apologized to the “Party of Five” alum and their three kids — sons Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and daughter Lucy, 12 — and he responded with a simple show of support. “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Scott commented on the post. The “Real World: New Orleans” alum made headlines last August when she was arrested for harassment and made shocking abuse claims against Scott, 58. The actor later broke his silence on the situation in a statement to People, stating that their children’s well-being was at stake. They’re seen here in January 2023. scott wolf/ instagram The “Party of Five” alum commented heart emojis. “I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to ‘make claims’ about me, although she also admitted, ‘I do not believe they’re true,’ in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a ‘battle’ in court, and in the court of public opinion,” Scott said. “In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future,” he continued. Kelley was detained by police and put on a psychiatric hold, though she later continued to share bizarre posts on social media, including video of her breaking into their family house in Park City, Utah. In her post Friday, she shared that her mental breakdown was brought on by a combination of stress, past trauma, hormonal changes, hallucinogens and prescription medications. She noted that she’s been working with doctors, therapists and psychologists over the past year. Thanks for signing up! “I am so sorry,” she wrote, adding that she put her estranged husband through a “nightmare that wouldn’t even fly in a movie script.” Kelley also acknowledged that the things she publicly said and shared during the ordeal were not “based in truth or reality.” “I have spent my life believing in love, hope kindness, and compassion,” she wrote. “What I became was the opposite. Cruel. Vicious. Mean.” Kelley announced in June 2025 that she and Scott were separating after 21 years of marriage. Scott subsequently confirmed he had filed for divorce, calling it “the most difficult decision of my life.” Kelly and Scott share three children together — sons Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and daughter Lucy, 12. In a statement to People about the outing, Scott said they working to rebuild. “While I would never have wanted anything to have been made public, I guess it just felt like our family deserved to have things not just sit in some kind of awful dark place in terms of perception,” he explained. “While the work we’re all doing is really the only thing that really matters, it had been made public,” he continued. “While it’s impossible to go into any real detail about much of any of it, I love all of those four people and all of those four people love each other.
