I was not feeling happy in my job. I felt this extreme pressure, had a headache every day. I used to take painkillers every day, and I did not like that life,” she said in the video. Snigdha said the long hours of sitting, constant stress and mental exhaustion had gradually become part of her routine: “I knew I needed to change something inside me. And that is the reason I took this massive step for myself. My family has been there for me.”In her caption, she explained that her decision was not simply about leaving a corporate job to become a yoga teacher. She had noticed how demanding work schedules often leave people with little time to care for their physical and mental wellbeing. “So many of us wake up, rush to work, sit for hours, deal with stress, come back exhausted, and repeat the same cycle again,” she said.Stiffness, fatigue, feeling disconnected from one’s body and constant exhaustion, she said, can gradually become “normal” without people realising it.Snigdha acknowledged that leaving a stable job is not an option for everyone and stressed that people do not necessarily need to quit their jobs to prioritise their health.“You can still take care of your body while working a demanding job. You can still build strength, mobility, and calm into your everyday life. You can still feel better without completely changing your life,” she said.Today, Snigdha Bose has channelled her experience into Tulaa Wellness Studio, where she teaches yoga and pranayam, turning a difficult period in her career into a new professional path.- EndsPublished On: Sep 10, 2026 19:01 IST
