Kudos to state Sen. Tom Patton for recognizing the inequities in potentially knocking elected military reservists from service on school boards should they be called up -- and trying to do something about it. But Patton needs to recast SB 416 to offer a more comprehensive and practical solution for all military reservists in this situation, writes the editorial board of The Plain Dealer and cleveland.com
