The truth is that there are a limited number of Amex cards with good spending multipliers on hotels (the Amex Green Card offers 3x points, but is no longer open to new applicants, as of late).That’s why I think it’s worth pointing out that it’s typically not an issue to split payment methods at check-out, when staying at a hotel.
