Save $1,000 on the Peloton Cross Tread Before Prime Big Deal Days Ends

Hold onto your butts, fellow treadmill fans, because the Peloton Cross Tread treadmill is 30% off right now for Prime Big Deal Days. It’s $2,295, down from $3,295, which saves you a full $1,000. This is a temporary sale that ends tomorrow. Once Big Deal Days is over, the price goes back up, so if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to get this ‘mill, this is it.Shop Amazon Prime Big Deal DaysI’ve run on this treadmill many, many times, and I’m a big fan. It’s just so fun and convenient, and dang, the cushioning is Goldilocks-level good. Not too firm, not so plush you feel like you’re springing on a mattress. You have enough ground feel for your push off, and softness when you land, thanks to the multi-zone style of the cushioning on the deck. It’s not a treadmill where you’re going to be overly worried about shoe choice because of the bouncy deck, I’ve taken plated trainers on this and done just fine. This sale is coming at the perfect time because the Peloton Cross Tread is an incredible gift for a runner. If your spouse runs, this is the kind of present that earns you all the brownie points. The same goes for a parent or an adult child who runs. It gives them the option of running indoors, with their favorite trainers, versus heading out into foul weather. Now the nerdy part. The Tread has a 24-inch HD touchscreen with front and rear-facing speakers, so you can actually hear your trainers or whatever you’re watching on Netflix. Speed runs from 0 to 12.5 mph and incline from 0% to 12.5%. You can adjust both with physical knobs, so you never stab at a screen mid-stride and miss. The jump buttons let you leap up in speed and incline with one press, which I like to do when I’m feeling adventurous. My favorite feature (other than the apps) is auto-incline. In on-demand classes it follows the instructor’s cues up and down the hills automatically, so you stay locked into the workout. There’s also a clip-on safety key, that’s less annoying than some that stop the belt fast if it’s pulled, which is reassuring. I’ve fallen on a ‘mill that didn’t have this, and my knees still bear the scars. As someone who tests a ton of watches, I am happy to report that it works with your watch. It pairs with Apple Watch and with Android watches running Wear OS 3 or higher, like Samsung’s. It also supports ANT+ heart rate monitors, which is how I connect my Garmin. Your heart rate shows up right on the screen as well, making zone training all the simpler.Something unexpected that I love is that I can read my Kindle on it. The app is built in, and it’s customizable so you can make the text big enough to see when you’re on the ‘mill. On slower running or walking days, I pull up my Kindle right on the big screen and read while I workout. It’s an easy way to get steps in without feeling like I'm wasting time that I could be spending reading. As to the convenience, the screen pivots away from the treadmill for cross training. When the run is over, you can follow along from the floor. I do my weights and mat work right beside the treadmill while watching a strength class. One machine does the work of two.One thing to know: you need a Peloton All-Access Membership (currently $49.99/month) for the classes. I think it's worth it, but budget for it.The bottom line is that this is a solid, well-built machine that makes me want to run. At $2,295, it’s the best time to buy. Grab the deal before it ends.Shop Peloton Cross Tread Deal
