Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Authority appointed Ageel Alshaibani as chief executive, the STA announced on LinkedIn Tuesday. He succeeds Fahd Hamidaddin who left the role in May after seven years. Alshaibani previously served as Saudi deputy minister of tourism for strategic planning and monitoring, where he helped develop and implement the National Tourism Strategy.
