The Eagles will not have one of their best players for the rest of Sunday’s contest against the Rams. Philadelphia has downgraded running back Saquon Barkley from questionable to out. Barkley suffered a hamstring injury on his second carry of the game in the first quarter. He went out of bounds on the 6-yard carry then pulled up in obvious pain, hitting his hamstring as he took a knee. He was examined in the sideline medical tent before heading back to the locker room for further evaluation. Tank Bigsby has been the primary running back with Barkley down. The Eagles are plenty shorthanded with right tackle Lane Johnson and receiver DeVonta Smith inactive for the contest. Philadelphia has a 13-3 lead at the two-minute warning in the second quarter.
