Credit: Woot and Rene Ramos Table of Contents The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 lineup was just released last summer, with the budget-friendly Galaxy Watch 8 and the premium Galaxy Watch 8 Classic offering two different design options. Ironically, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is cheaper than the budget option and is currently seeing its best discount yet, a year after its release, going for $269.99 (originally $549.99) for the LTE version. This is the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools. The Classic comes with a rotating bezel that helps you navigate the menus, which the budget Galaxy Watch 8 doesn't have. You can read Lifehacker Senior Health Editor Beth Skwarecki's first impressions of the bezel here. She explains how the running dynamics are intuitive and can lead you to improve certain aspects of your runs; how heart rate zones are tailored to your max heart rate and watch faces are customizable; and how the watch can show you how healthy your diet is with the antioxidant index. You can read the full review here. What do you think so far? Since this is an LTE version, you don't have to worry about keeping your phone with you when using the watch. You can go on runs and leave your phone behind while still listening to music or taking calls. Also of note: This Classic only comes in the bigger 46mm screen size, while the regular Galaxy Watch 8 comes in 40 and 44mm sizes. You can expect about 30 hours of use from a single charge on these Galaxy watches. If you work out on a treadmill, you can use Bluetooth FTMS (Fitness Machine Service), NFC tap-to-sync, or apps like iFIT or Zwift to sync them and receive your workout data.
