Samsung Galaxy Book 6 launched with 25-hour battery life and Galaxy AI features

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 6 lineup with a new 14-inch laptop aimed at everyday users. The laptop brings Galaxy AI, Intel processors and up to 25 hours of battery life. The new laptop comes with Intel processors, Galaxy AI features, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, while Samsung claims it can deliver up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge.It is worth noting that the Galaxy Book 6 is currently available in select markets, with the company planning to expand its availability to more regions. As for the Indian buyers, the company is yet to unveil the debut details. The laptop starts at $799 (roughly Rs 75,800) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is available in two colours: Violet Silver and Grey.Samsung Galaxy Book 6 specifications and featuresThe new Galaxy Book 6 sports a 14-inch WUXGA LCD display with a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 350 nits of brightness. Samsung has also added an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare, which should make the screen more comfortable to use for long periods.Under the hood, the laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core 5 processor, along with an Intel NPU capable of up to 15 TOPS for AI-related tasks. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe storage. The laptop runs Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro 25H2, depending on the configuration. Samsung is also bringing several Galaxy AI features to the machine, including AI Select, AI Cut out and Note Assist. These features can help users find information from content on the screen, remove image backgrounds and summarise notes.The Galaxy Book 6 also works with other Galaxy devices. Features such as Quick Share, Storage Share, Multi Control and Second Screen allow users to move files, access content from a Galaxy phone and use a Galaxy Tab as a second display. For video calls, the laptop gets a 2-megapixel camera with support for 1080p video, along with dual-array microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.The laptop packs a 61.2Wh battery, and Samsung claims up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge. It supports 45W USB Type-C charging, with Samsung saying the laptop can gain around 33 per cent charge in 30 minutes.Samsung Galaxy Book 6 price and availabilityThe Galaxy Book 6 starts at $799, with the base configuration offering 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
