Samsung finally reveals everything coming to your Galaxy S26 with One UI 9

Earlier this month, the company announced that One UI 9 would start rolling out to the Galaxy S26 series on September 21. We later learned that Samsung had delayed the rollout, only for T-Mobile to suddenly start pushing the update to Galaxy S26 devices in the U.S.Safe to say, it's been messy. That said, Samsung has now updated its official support pages to confirm that One UI 9 builds for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are available on T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and US Cellular (via Android Authority). Unlocked Galaxy S26 owners are apparently starting to receive the update as well.Despite One UI 9 already reaching several Galaxy S26 devices, we didn't have an official changelog from Samsung detailing exactly what was new. But with Samsung now updating its support pages, we finally know what Galaxy S26 owners are getting. One UI 9 also brings an improved Now Nudge experience, alongside the ability to show relevant information directly on the call screen.Samsung is also making the Quick Panel even more customizable. You can now separate the Sound Mode button from the volume slider, giving you more control over how the panel is laid out.There are some new privacy and security features as well. One UI 9 introduces AI-powered privacy alerts that monitor how apps use permissions and can notify you if an app appears to be unnecessarily accessing your personal data.
