Sam’s Club expands Thanksgiving meal, keeping cost under $10 a person as inflation weighs on consumers

Sam’s Club announced Thursday it is rolling out its largest Thanksgiving meal offering to date, expanding holiday offerings while keeping the price under $10 per person. The Walmart-owned membership club said its 2026 Thanksgiving meal, designed for 16 people, includes 11 different offerings, including turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.The meal grew from nine offerings last year, while Sam’s Club said the per-person price remains unchanged. The holiday offering comes as consumers continue to contend with higher inflation heading into the Thanksgiving season. The food at home index decreased 0.1% on a monthly basis and is up 1.8% from a year ago. The food away from home index rose 0.2% for the month and is up 3.5% from last year.The meal will be available beginning Oct. 28 in clubs and online.
