Raimi has a knack for franchises. The director has become well-known for his work in delivering some of the best Spider-Man movies of all time in the form of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy. More recently, the director returned to Marvel to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the man behind Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That important addition to the MCU's Multiverse Saga ended its theatrical run with a whopping $955.8 million total, nearly crossing $1 billion. In terms of franchises, Raimi is also the mastermind behind the Evil Dead horror franchise, which is mainly led by longtime collaborator Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, and recently got new chapters in the form of Evil Dead Rise and this year's Evil Dead Burn. However, Raimi's latest R-rated thriller was not part of the franchises the director has helmed in the past, but an original idea that saw Raimi go back to his horror roots. That movie is the survival horror thriller Send Help, which stars Dylan O'Brien and Rachel McAdams, and it just hit a massive streaming milestone. The R-rated thriller is the film that has trended for the longest time on the streaming service's chart. The only other movie to get close to Raimi's new streaming milestone on Hulu is the Pixar classic Ratatouille. The animated hit is currently at 93 days on Hulu's top chart. After Ratatouille, the movies that complete the top five are The Avengers, at 74 days, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, at 53 days, and Anne Hathaway's The Devil Wears Prada 2, at 47 days. Raimi's Send Help also shows signs that it could stay trending on Hulu for a little longer. At the time of writing, the R-rated horror thriller stands as the 13th most-watched movie on Hulu. It has managed to leave behind Marvel Studios' The Avengers despite the fact that Raimi's latest movie was released on January 30 in theaters, whereas the MCU movie is a crucial entry as fans rewatch the Avengers franchise in preparation for Avengers: Doomsday's release on December 18.
