Saints WR Jordyn Tyson feels "more explosive than I ever have" in return from hamstring injury

Published November 5, 2026 06:44 AM The Saints can use all the help they can get after a 2-5 start to the season and one ray of hope is the return of rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson to the practice field this week. Tyson has been out since injuring his hamstring during a joint practice with the Jaguars in August, but the first-round pick was designated for return from injured reserve this week and he gave a very positive assessment of his health while speaking with reporters on Wednesday. “I ran the fastest I ran since I been here in rehab. I feel more explosive than I ever have,” Tyson said. “So I think I’m doing pretty good. I think I’m doing just fine.”The Saints haven’t said if Tyson will play against the Browns this Sunday, but he said he’s “pretty anxious” to make his NFL debut and start providing the big plays that the team envisioned when they took him eighth overall in April. That would be a positive way to head into the second half of a season that has not gone as hoped in New Orleans.
