Sabres Have Potential PTO Target In Veteran Winger

This was after he recorded at least 40 points from 2022-23 to 2024-25. With numbers like these, he would have the potential to be a decent addition to the Sabres' bottom six if he earned a contract for the season from a PTO.Smith would also give the Sabres a veteran forward who has won the Stanley Cup in the past. This would not be a bad thing for a Sabres club that is looking to emerge as true contenders.While Smith may not be the same top-six forward he was during his prime, he is still a solid winger who could provide the Sabres with some decent secondary offensive production if signed. With that, he could be worth taking a chance on with a PTO.
