Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s Wrexham called out by EFL club for ‘copying’ their badge

LEYTON ORIENT have sensationally hit out at Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in a shock social media spat. Wrexham’s usual crest was replaced by two dragons facing each other over a football and looked similar to the O’s iconic design. And, after seeing Reynolds and McElhenney kitted out, Orient accused their EFL counterparts of copying their look. In a post uploaded onto X, the East Londoners wrote: “What you playing at, @VancityReynolds @RMcElhenney?” Orient also included footage of Roy Hodgson going on a foul-mouthed rant during a post-match interview while in the Liverpool dugout. In the short video clip, the former England chief can be heard saying: “Let’s not take the p*** here.” Wrexham’s usual badge features two red dragons facing inward, a golden football and the Prince of Wales feathers with a coronet and motto. Reynolds and McElhenney also stopped short of publicly reaching out to the O’s. Orient gave their crest a fresh look in 1976 to incorporate their links with the City of London.
