Russia’s State Duma election delivered record turnout and a landslide for United Russia. Kremlin insiders say the results were achieved ‘through very dirty means.’

With 93% of precinct returns processed, United Russia, the country’s ruling party, had won about 58% of the vote in the election to the State Duma.
