Russian Drone Hits Kharkiv Mall, Woman Needs Medical Aid

A Russian drone struck a shopping center in Kharkiv’s Osnovianskyi district on Thursday, Sept. 17, with a 65-year-old employee later seeking medical assistance after becoming unwell, regional authorities said. The impact was at a shopping center,” Syniehubov said in his initial update. Authorities initially reported that no one had been injured in the strike. Syniehubov later said that a 65-year-old woman who worked at the damaged business had requested medical assistance. The woman was inside a shelter when the drone hit but later began feeling unwell, according to the regional governor. Medical personnel were providing her with the necessary care. Emergency services continued working at the impact site. Authorities did not immediately disclose the extent of the damage, the type of drone used or whether the shopping center was operating at the time of the attack.
