Russian Ballistic Strikes Hit Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad, 3 Wounded

Russian forces launched strikes on industrial facilities in three cities in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region in the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 22, wounding at least three people and sparking fires. The Russians simultaneously struck industrial enterprises in three cities of the region – Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad,” Hanzha wrote on Telegram. Fires broke out at the affected sites. In a later update, Hanzha said three people had been wounded in Dnipro and were receiving medical assistance. The Ukrainian Air Force had warned shortly before the explosions of a ballistic missile threat. At around 1:58 a.m., it reported a threat of ballistic weapons launched from Russia’s Voronezh region. Explosions were subsequently reported in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih as the attack continued. The latest strikes follow another day of heavy Russian attacks across Dnipropetrovsk region. On Monday, Russian forces attacked four districts of the region nearly 50 times using drones and artillery, killing one person, according to regional authorities. Infrastructure, a store and a kindergarten were damaged in Dnipro during those attacks, while other strikes hit communities in the Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih and Synelnykove districts.
