Customers can check which dishes are available at a particular restaurant through the McDonald’s mobile app, partner delivery services or directly at the restaurant. “We thank you for your patience and understanding. Our teams are doing everything possible to continue offering you your favorite dishes every day,” the company added. Russian drone attacks McDonald’s warehouse The company’s announcement follows a Russian drone attack on a warehouse used by McDonald’s in Kyiv on Friday, Sept. 25. Previously President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the facility had been hit during a wider series of Russian attacks on the capital. “An attack drone against ordinary food,” Zelensky said at the time. He described the attack as part of Russia’s expanding campaign against civilian infrastructure and foreign companies operating in Ukraine. The Sept. 25 attacks killed five people and injured 27 across Kyiv. Four people were killed when a drone hit an office building in the Solomianskyi district, while a 14-year-old boy was killed in a separate attack on a residential building in the Pecherskyi district. Authorities did not report casualties specifically at the McDonald’s-linked warehouse. McDonald’s facilities previously damaged McDonald’s restaurants in Kyiv have also been affected by earlier Russian attacks. In January 2025, workers at a McDonald’s near the Lukianivska metro station managed to reach a shelter shortly before a Russian missile hit the surrounding area. All employees survived. A McDonald’s restaurant near Lukianivska was also damaged during Russian attacks in May 2026, with part of its facade melted by the blast. Despite repeated attacks on its facilities and supply chain, McDonald’s has continued operating restaurants in Ukraine while adapting its menu and logistics to wartime conditions.
