Russian Assault on Dnipro City Center Kills 3, Wounds 15 as Synelnykove Attack Leaves 1 Dead

Russian forces attacked central Dnipro during the working day on Monday, killing three people and injuring 15, while a separate attack on nearby Synelnykove killed one person and injured three others, Ukrainian officials said. Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (OVA), initially reported: “The enemy struck the center of Dnipro. A fire broke out. There are casualties.” Preliminary data indicated that Dnipro was attacked by a jet-powered drone. It was later reported that three people were killed in the Russian assault on Dnipro.“Nearby are residential buildings, a park, a library, offices, and shops. The center of Dnipro. Hundreds of people are here in the middle of the workday. This is exactly where the Russians struck. Three people died,” Hanzha wrote, expressing his sincere condolences. According to the latest figures, 18 people were injured in the attack.“Two women have been hospitalized. Medics assess their condition as moderately severe,” Hanzha added.The company Opendatabot reported that its office was damaged in the attack.“Fortunately, there are no casualties among the team. Service operations will not be affected – automation and all systems are functioning normally,” the statement read.Additionally, a logistics company in Synelnykove, located about an hour’s drive from Dnipro, came under Russian attack. He later clarified that three people were wounded and one person was killed in the attack.A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition in the hospital following the attack. A search-and-rescue operation is underway at the scene.President Volodymyr Zelensky has also responded to the assault on Telegram, writing:“A business center in Dnipro was attacked; in other cities and regions, civilian targets, enterprises, and communications infrastructure were also hit. Unfortunately, there are fatalities... My condolences to the families and loved ones.
