Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.Klitschko subsequently said a transport company facility in the Solomianskyi district had caught fire as a result of the attack.Kyiv City Express temporarily suspended train services in both directions because of the heightened air threat to the capital.At 7:15 a.m., Klitschko reported that a drone had struck a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district.In his update at 8:09 a.m., the mayor said a transport infrastructure facility in the Darnytskyi district had been hit. Klitschko also confirmed the information, saying that a fire broke out on the roof of a gas stattion. Meanwhile, Telegram channels clarified that a second UPG gas station on Kharkivske Highway was hit. Zaporizhzhia shopping center catches fireMeanwhile, two men, aged 37 and 39, were wounded in Zaporizhzhia during an overnight Russian attack on the city, according to the State Emergency Service (DSNS). Medical personnel were providing them with treatment.The strike also sparked a major fire at a shopping center. Local Telegram channels identified the site as the Amstor mall, which had previously been targeted by Russian forces on Sept. 17.Rescuers extinguished the fire, which covered approximately 6,000 square meters.“Crews had to work under extremely difficult conditions; operations were periodically suspended due to the risk of follow-up attacks, requiring personnel to retreat to shelters. All emergency services were deployed to the scene,” the DSNS said. In the Poltava region, Russian forces struck a private enterprise in Poltava district, causing a fire that was later extinguished. No casualties were reported. The attack included Shahed-type drones, 82 of which were jet-powered, as well as Gerbera and Parodiya decoy drones and “Banderol”/“Dan-T” models.The attack was countered by Ukrainian Air Force aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.“As of 8 a.m., air defense units had shot down or neutralized 119 enemy UAVs of various types,” the Air Force said, according to preliminary data.Russian drones were recorded striking 18 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at eight locations, as per the Air Force.
