Ukraine’s Air Force warned of a ballistic missile threat and detected high-speed targets heading toward Kyiv. It had earlier warned of likely Russian cruise missile launches from strategic aircraft. Kyiv’s military administration said the Russian forces carried out a combined attack and repeatedly urged residents to remain in shelters. As of 6:30 a.m., two people had been killed and seven injured, according to the administration. Earlier, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said three of six people then known to have been injured were hospitalized, while three received outpatient treatment.
