Russia Destroys Ukrainian Production Facility of World-Leading Ventilation Systems

Overnight Sept. 19-20, a Russian missile and drone attack on Boyarka, Kyiv region, destroyed the main production facilities and warehouses of Vents – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of commercial and domestic ventilation and fan equipment. Headquartered in Luxembourg, the Blauberg Group is a global conglomerate in the ventilation sector. The group operates 123 manufacturing facilities globally and holds full membership in the US-based HVAC association HARDI. Vents serves as one of its key strategic subsidiaries. Vents is part of the Blauberg Group and a full member of the US-based HVAC distributors association HARDI, according to the company’s website. Since early August, Russian forces have launched an unprecedented wave of attacks targeting major Ukrainian civilian businesses. The attacks have systematically destroyed the infrastructure of market leaders across the logistics, retail, pharmaceutical, food and publishing sectors. “The facility has suffered significant destruction. We are currently assessing the scale of the damage and working to restore production and logistics,” the company stated on Facebook. Vents reported Hr.5.63 billion ($126 million) in revenue and Hr.515 million ($11.5 million) in net profit in 2025. Following a slight decline in 2022, the company’s financial indicators have grown consistently, with total assets reaching Hr.4.67 billion ($104 million) last year, according to data from YouControl.
