Russell Brand was grinning 'like a clown' as the 'sexual predator' dragged a woman into a toilet to rape her, a court heard today. The 51-year-old actor is accused of groping an MTV worker within seconds of meeting her at a West End bar.He is alleged to have dragged the woman into a toilet and forced himself on her, saying, 'Come on, don't be a spoilsport.'The woman sobbed as she told police the actor had a 'weird maniacal grin' when he grabbed her hair and forced her to perform oral sex, despite her protests.Jurors at Southwark Crown Court were shown a photograph of the area where the alleged assault took place in a toilet cubicle which had pictures of naked women plastered on the walls.Brand is accused of three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one charge of indecent assault, which he denies.The MTV employee told the court she was at a friend's birthday party when she met Brand at a bar in Fitzrovia.The woman, who was in her 20s at the time, had been looking forward to meeting the presenter of the reality show, Big Brother's Big Mouth. It was so quick the way he did it'He dragged me in the toilets. He locked the door.'Brand leapt on a toilet seat, unzipped his trousers and forced her to perform oral sex, she told police. I don't want to do this'.'He said, 'Come on, come on'.'She went on: 'The force of it and the look in his eye felt threatening', adding, 'He's tall, and I'm 5ft 3ins, I'm small, he was looming over me.'Describing Brand as 'average- not that well-endowed', she said: 'I thought if I did this, maybe he won't rape me. It was a survival thing.'I think I just closed my eyes.'After the alleged attack, the woman banged on the door for help as her hands were shaking so much, she was unable to unlock the cubicle, the court heard.She said: 'I remember some guy saying, "Are you OK?"'Russell Brand casually walked over and unlocked it.'The alleged victim, who described herself as 'tipsy', said she drifted around the bar in a daze after the attack.Brand is said to have followed her and remarked: 'I guess we should swap numbers now.'She added: 'He was acting completely normal like we just met in a club and he wanted my number.'The woman then left the bar with colleagues and was 'shepherded' into a waiting car. Brand's bodyguard is seen leading the couple out of Southwark Crown Court on MondayTo her horror, Brand then entered the vehicle and sat next to her.In front of other passengers, the star is alleged to have exposed himself again and asked her to perform another sex actShe said: 'I was just looking out of the window in a daze. Just trying to compute what had happened, I was in disbelief and think I felt a nudge.'And he had his penis out again in the car.'I did say 'No'. He said, 'Go on suck it' in some disgusting, jokey, jovial way.'She told police: 'He then put it away laughing about it, thinking it was all good fun. He thought it was funny. He had this weird look on his face like, "Come on, be a sport".'After a 20-minute journey they were dropped off at an after party.The woman fled while Brand went off to a VIP area to meet a 'group of girls fawning over' him, it was said.Later she told a friend of Brand's that he was a 'sexual predator.'But she did not reveal what had happened to her until 2023 when allegations of sexual misconduct against Brand emerged in a documentary.Wiping away the tears she told jurors: 'I felt ashamed. That is the wrong thing to feel because it isn't my fault.'Brand denies the charges. The trial continues.
