Rubio assures Gulf allies any Iran deal will safeguard their security

Senator Marco Rubio has sought to reassure U.S. allies in the Gulf region that any deal with Iran will include measures to protect their security. Gulf nations have expressed concern that the potential accord might not sufficiently curb Iran's influence, especially after recent attacks in the region. Rubio's assurances aim to alleviate fears that the agreement could leave them vulnerable to Iranian aggression, emphasizing that any deal will contain robust safeguards. This comes amid broader discussions about the implications of the deal on regional stability and U.S. foreign policy.
