These design elements are intended to reflect the courage, discipline and resilience associated with the Gorkha fraternity while retaining the motorcycle’s familiar Classic 350 styling.Mechanically, the special edition remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine that produces 20bhp and 27Nm of torque. The motorcycle retains its upright riding position and characteristic Classic 350 design.For added convenience, Royal Enfield has equipped the Gorkha Edition with an Assist & Slipper clutch, which is claimed to offer smoother gear shifts. It also gets a Type-C USB fast-charging port.
