Royal decrees issued for transfers and appointments in the diplomatic corps

Muscat: Royal Decree No. (71/2026) on conducting transfers and appointments in the diplomatic corps.Article (1) states that the following shall be transferred to the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry: 1- Sheikh Al Abbas bin Ibrahim bin Hamad Al Harthy, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to Malaysia.2- Yousef bin Ahmed bin Hamad Al Jabri, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the Republic of Austria.3- Dr. Mohammed bin Said bin Khalifa Al Busaidi, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to Japan.4- Dr. Saleh bin Amer bin Harith Al Kharousi, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the State of Kuwait.5- Sayyid Turki bin Mahmoud bin Ali Al Busaidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic.Article (2) transfers Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al Bahrani, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan and appoints him as Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq.Article (3) appoints the following:1- Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman bin Hamad Al Harthy as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.2- Faisal bin Omar bin Said Al Marhoon as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic.Article (4) grants the following the position of an ambassador:1- Minister Plenipotentiary Ali bin Ahmed bin Salim Al Shanfari shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the State of Kuwait.2- Minister Plenipotentiary Anwar bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Muqaibal shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the People's Republic of China.3- Minister Plenipotentiary Yaqoub bin Badr bin Ali Al Ruqaishi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan.4- Minister Plenipotentiary Salim bin Habib bin Salam Al Omairi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Somalia.5- Minister Plenipotentiary Salim bin Saud bin Salim Al Habsi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Austria.6- Minister Plenipotentiary Rashid bin Ali bin Humaid Al Badi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal.7- Counselor Eng. Hatim bin Hilal bin Ali Al Yaqoubi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Malaysia.8- Counselor Aseela bint Nasser bin Zaid Al Kayoumi shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Japan.9- Counselor Dr. Sheikh Salah bin Salim bin Ali Jaaboub shall be granted the position of an ambassador and appointed as the Sultanate of Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.Article (5) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.Royal Decree No. (72/2026) on appointing non-resident Ambassador.Article (1) states that Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al Rahbi, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the United States of America, shall be appointed as Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the United Mexican States, Canada, the Republic of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.Royal Decree No. (73/2026) on appointing non-resident Ambassador.Article (1) states that Abdullah bin Nasser bin Mussallam Al Rahbi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, shall be appointed as Oman’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Angola.Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.Royal Decree No. (74/2026) on appointing non-resident Ambassador.Article (1) states that Khalid bin Salim bin Ahmed Ba'makhalif, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, shall be appointed as Oman's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Benin and the Republic of Sierra Leone.Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on its date of issue.
