(Photo by Evan Agostini/Invision/AP)Evan Agostini/Invision/APBy Brian Linder | blinder@pennlive.comRoseanne Barr revealed during her “Roseanne Barr” podcast earlier this year that she is dealing with a potentially serious health situation.“I want one of those ponytail facelifts,” the controversial comedian and actress said. “But this doctor says I have to go get my heart checked out because it’s damaged.”Barr, 73, said she was upset by the suggestion and added, “I need a new doctor.”“He’s always sending me to other doctors to check me out, and I’m like, ‘Why do I have to go find something wrong when nothing’s wrong?’” she said. “And then get in shape just so I can have surgery and die on the surgery table. I mean, well, it doesn’t make any sense.”And it doesn’t sound like Barr is planning to change her mind on that. “I would rather not get ready for any sort of surgery ever again in my life and just get a heart attack or a stroke and just be put into a home,” she said. “That is life: living in the hospice. That life is worth living, I’ve seen it. “Living in hospice. That’s all I want,’ she added. “They know you’re dying and they give you morphine.”The former “Roseanne” and “The Conners” star is living a quieter life on a ranch in Texas, after a series of controversial incidents beginning in 2018 when she wrote a racist social media post about former Obama White House advisor Valerie Jarrett.
