Rohit Shetty cites Tiger Shroff firing incident to slam ScoutOp, Yung DSA on BB 20

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty referenced the recent shooting incident targeting actor Tiger Shroff while reprimanding contestants on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20. Calling out contestants ScoutOP, Aasif Khan, Yung DSA, and Amrapali Dubey for their aggressive behaviour inside the house, the host cautioned them against posturing like criminals on national television."Idhar hamare gharon mein goliyan chal rahi hai, tumlog kya gangster ban ke ghum rahe ho (Bullets are being fired at our homes here, and you people are walking around trying to act like gangsters?)" Shetty said, while addressing the housemates.Singling out ScoutOP and Yung DSA, the host labelled them a "bully gang" and dismissed their posturing as immature."Tumlog ke mann mein hai tumlog gangster lag rahe ho. Aisa lagta hai ki teen 10th standard ke nikle hain aisa kuch karne ke liye (You think you look like gangsters. It seems like three tenth-graders have stepped out to pull off something like this," Shetty added. The host made these observations while addressing the contestants’ conduct towards fellow housemate Qazi Touqeer. Responding to Yung DSA’s claims that Qazi made others feel as though he was charging at them, Shetty defended Qazi, explaining that he was merely engaging in game strategy to provoke housemates rather than resorting to actual violence.Shetty's remarks referencing Shroff followed the firing incident that took place at Juhu, Mumbai, as the Baaghi 4 actor was returning home after a football match on October 18.Following the firing, Pandit, an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reportedly claimed responsibility and threatened actor Salman Khan and people working with him.Shroff had earlier worked in Shetty's cop action drama, Singham Again (2024). The film also featured actors Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Jackie Shroff in key roles.- Ends
