Rock band cancels concert after tour bus accident kills worker in Virginia

Authorities have not released the worker’s name.The band said in a statement they were “deeply saddened and shocked” by the incident. The decision to cancel came after consulting with venue management and authorities.“We will work with the promoter and venue regarding the possibility of rescheduling the show and will communicate further information to ticket holders as soon as it is available,” the band stated. “Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this tragic event.”Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts posted about the accident on social media, describing the victim as a member of the community. The venue said the cancellation was made out of respect for the loss of life.Squeeze is touring the United States following the March release of their album Trixies.
