He suffered a small injury but is almost ready to train. “You can’t buy mentality. Football like a magic thing. You can change many players in one window and find the balance immediately or you need more time. “I would like to do it quickly as soon as possible. The plan, the project of the club and what we are doing is to rebuild a new team with new players.” Tottenham want around £20million for Sarr so he looks certain to leave before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday. Spurs continued their difficult start to the season – despite splashing out £300m on new signings – as they suffered successive defeats without a goal. The home side had a decent first half but Newcastle took their chances in the second as Anthony Elanga and Yoanne Wissa struck. He said after the game: “Forget the result. I am not angry, we are working well and were unlucky today with the result. “We will not panic. I know very well where we are going, what the plan is and what difficult problems we could find in our way. “I am sorry for the fans and sorry for the players for the result but we have to improve and to change two seasons like the last two is impossible in 10 days and with people in the transfer market. “We have to work hard on the pitch and find the connection with the players because last season before the end of the season we were in the Championship and we stayed up together. “Now we have to keep calm and focus on improvement. We have a great squad and great players, we can’t use all the players we brought but if we work in this way and believe in ourselves I think we will change the last two seasons.” Tottenham will travel to Oliver Glasner‘s Nottingham Forest next week before hosting Everton on September 12.
