She joined her brother Rorrey Fenty’s band, Aurra, and paraded through the streets of Bridgetown, Barbados. Crop Over, which dates back to the 1700s, traditionally celebrates the end of Barbados’ sugar cane harvest. The weeks-long festival culminates in the Grand Kadooment parade, when elaborate costume bands take over the streets with soca music, dancing and fireworks. Barbados-born Rihanna has regularly returned home for the festivities making sure she fits in with her flamboyant Carnival outfits.
