Review of Type 1 Diabetes
To the Editor A recent Review provided a comprehensive overview of the physiology and management of type 1 diabetes. As maternal-fetal medicine specialists, we wish to highlight the challenges and implications of type 1 diabetes on maternal and fetal health and emphasize the importance of collaborative care between endocrinology and maternal-fetal medicine for diabetic pregnancies.
