To the Editor A recent Review of type 1 diabetes stated that the insulin sensitivity factor “can be estimated by 1800 divided by weight in kilograms” and the insulin-to-carbohydrate ratio by “450 divided by weight in kilograms.” This weight-based approach is also shown in Figure 3 in the article.
