Reports: Phillies set to recall RHP Alex McFarlane

McFarlane, 25, was called up to the major leagues for the first time earlier this season but did not appear in a game. A former fourth-round draft pick in 2022, McFarlane is 1-1 with a 2.06 ERA in 32 relief appearances at Reading this season. He is ranked by MLB Pipeline as the Phillies' No. 17 overall prospect. --Field Level Media
