Report: Bears S Coby Bryant will miss 8-12 weeks with knee injury

Bears safety Coby Bryant, who was carted off from practice Monday, was diagnosed with a hyperextended left knee, bone bruise and small fracture, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.Bryant is expected to miss 8-10 weeks.He was one of the team’s key offseason signings, joining the Bears on a three-year, $40 million contract.Bryant spent the past four seasons in Seattle after the Seahawks made him a fourth-round pick in 2022. He won a Super Bowl ring in his final season with the organization.Cam Lewis is behind Bryant on the depth chart, though Lewis was playing the nickel. The Bears may need to make a move at the position.
