They went on to crash head-on into a sedan containing Robert Barr Jr., 54, and Alice Stilwell, 67, sending their car flying and killing them both, according to prosecutors. But the teens sped off over the JFK Memorial Bridge, cops said, pulling them into a high-stakes chase. Police then tracked down the car’s owner – who was yet to even realise the luxury SUV had been taken – and told officers across the county to be on the lookout for it. Cops said they found the Mercedes four hours later at 7.46am in Hamilton Township with a Land Rover. Both cars allegedly fled the area. Most read in The Sun Just six minutes later, the teens were allegedly speeding on the wrong side of the road when they slammed into the couple’s car. Robert and Alice were sent careening into a petrol station by the impact. Prosecutors said they were both killed in the crash. Officers found the wreck seconds later and arrested four people who had allegedly tried to flee the Mercedes on foot. The four, three juveniles and one adult, were largely unscathed after the crash, authorities said. Nayshaun Brown, 18, and three other teens who were not named because of their ages, were charged with joyriding, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and eluding police. Prosecutors did not reveal who was driving at the time of the accident. Alice was a “beloved mother and grandmother”, and Robert her long term partner, a GoFundMe revealed. Friend of the family Nicole Wright called their deaths a “devastating loss” on the fundraising appeal. She wrote: “This unimaginable tragedy has left their family in deep grief, and the shock of how suddenly it happened has made this painful time even harder to bear. “Her daughters and their families are now doing their best to honor their mother (grandmother) while carrying the emotional and practical burdens that come with such a devastating loss.” She added: “Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease some of the weight this family is carrying and show them they are not alone as they honor their mother’s memory.” Comment now
