MANCHESTER UNITED prospect Radek Vitek is keen to leave Old Trafford this summer and is ready to part ways permanently if an acceptable offer arrives. United are open to both a loan and a permanent sale for Vitek. The young goalkeeper came through the youth ranks and is still highly regarded by the club. And Vitek, who played the second half of United’s 1-0 defeat to Wrexham but did not concede the goal, is reluctant to just provide cover for Senne Lammens. He told reporters in Helsinki: “I feel great and ready to go again somewhere to hopefully be No1, so we’ll see, we’ll see what can happen.” When quizzed if first team minutes were the draw, Vitek said: “Yeah, well, at the moment I’m still here, but we’ll see, I hope so. “There’s been a few interests on the table but we’re hoping to get the best one and hopefully it will happen soon.” “I want to play. I want to play every week and yeah that’s the goal for next season. It depends on what the club wants and also depends on the options and yeah, we’ll see.” Veteran 40-year-old stopper Tom Heaton, who signed a one-year extension this summer, has been supporting Vitek. The Czech stopper added: “I have been working here with Craig nearly six years now, and obviously with Tom as well for a long time So it is massively important. “This pre-season it helps me a lot I can work with them and hopefully get myself ready as best as possible.” Any deal would almost certainly include a substantial sell-on clause and a buy-back option.
