A RARE and exclusive type of slot machine is making its casino debut offering players a real-time interactive experience. He said: “This is the first way that you can play these games outside of Las Vegas. Among the new attractions is Cosmic Crash, where players choose when to cash out before the multiplier crashes and release the roulette ball themselves. Battle for Earth challenges players to cash out before a UFO crashes, while Destroyer Naval Strike lets players position ships before firing missiles. The games debuted at a gaming industry trade show last year before Foxwoods secured the rights to introduce them to the East Coast. Hayes said: “We’re trying to do something different with the innovation zone. Most read in Money “We’re trying to add games that you may not be able to find everywhere. “Try to add games that we think will appeal to our guests and try to add something that’s new and getting exciting.” Hayes said the new games reflect how casino entertainment has evolved, with more interactive features replacing traditional slot machines. The area also features new electronic table games, poker variants and high-limit slots, including Battle 1-2-3, Chase the Flush, Double Hook Poker and Jackpot Blitz, a dealerless electronic poker table with automated dealing and a progressive jackpot. Hayes said the Innovation Zone is designed to keep evolving as new products become available. Hayes said: “This is really an evolution. This is the first, this is the initial launch. These are the initial games. “We’ll continue to add new games into this area, into the zone. We’ll continue to bring new product into the area.” The Innovation Zone has been open for several weeks, with electronic table games operating daily from noon and most slot machines available 24 hours a day.
