Rapist who crept into woman’s caravan at Royal Windsor Horse Show is jailed

| Freelance News Reporter Published August 5, 2026 10:52pm Updated August 5, 2026 10:52pm Ryan Dinnage, 32, has been sentenced to eight years and six months in prison after being found guilty of one charge of rape (Picture: Thames Valley Police/PA Wire) A man who raped a woman sleeping in her caravan at the Royal Windsor Horse Show has been jailed for over eight years. Ryan Dinnage crept into the victim’s mobile home at the equestrian show in the early hours of May 16, 2022. He was reported to police and arrested the following day. The 32-year-old initially denied sexually harassing the victim in a police interview, before he later insisted all sexual activity was consensual. However this was challenged by both forensic evidence and details from Dinnage’s phone showing he was near the caravan at the time of the attack. The woman had worked at the 2022 edition of the famous horse show, which kicked off on May 13 with a rare appearance by the late Queen Elizabeth II. A unanimous jury found Dinnage, from Croydon, guilty on one charge of rape at Reading Crown Court on June 8. He was sentenced to eight years and six months behind bars last Thursday.
