Rakhi Sawant calls Kangana Ranaut 'gutter mouth' in fiery rant for attacking Gen Z

Rakhi Sawant has hit back at actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, calling her a "chudail", a "khajvi" and a "gutter mouth" over her remarks on young women, students and Gen Z. In a video shared on Instagram, Rakhi questioned Kangana’s political rise and accused her of speaking badly about the daughters of the country while sitting in Parliament. The response came a day after Kangana posted a series of Instagram notes on videos of protests, describing Gen Z as "Generation Gutter" and criticising the participation of women in what she called Cockroach Janata Party-led student protests. She also said protesters in the agitation over the NEET paper leak "look and behave like" cockroaches, and described the videos as "puke-inducing".Taking aim at Kangana’s public standing and political journey, Rakhi said, "What did you do to become an MP? If you ever go out and contest elections, you won’t even get people’s votes. I do not know how you became such a big name in Mandi, or how you reached the position you hold today."Rakhi also objected to Kangana’s remarks about Gen Z and young women. "What kind of things are you saying about the girls of our country? What are you saying about my students, about the daughters of our nation?" she said, adding that Kangana was sitting in Parliament and speaking badly about the girls of the country. Referring to the 2024 incident in which Kangana was slapped by a CISF constable at Chandigarh airport, allegedly over disrespecting farmers, Rakhi said, "You had faced a slap incident at the airport, didn’t you? Aren’t you afraid? You will face people’s anger everywhere if you continue like this." She also challenged Kangana to move around without security, saying that if she had the courage to step out alone like others do, she would understand the strength of the country’s young people.Rakhi also brought up Kangana’s past controversies in Bollywood and said, "Look at your own character and what all you have done in Bollywood. Look at your own character. You have such a foul mouth. You are speaking against the girls of my country — do you even have that standing?" What Kangana wroteIn one of her posts, Kangana wrote, "Never in my life have I seen so much ugliness in one place. These reels from Gen Z protests are puke-inducing. The way they speak and the kind of language they are using, never in my life have I seen everything in each and every frame so jarring and so crass all at once. Ewww."She went on to question their upbringing, writing, "Who is birthing and raising them? India is a place of diversely beautiful people, draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication." She ended the note by saying, "I am scarred from these reels, need some healing, digital detox."In another remark, Kangana referred to some women in the protest as "so-called westernised Indian women". She accused them of following what she described as a lifestyle opposed to traditional values and said they were not inclined towards domestic responsibilities. "I call them Generation Gutter. Some of them have nothing to offer to the system. They are not good at studies. They are so ugly and corrupt that they can’t even be homemakers," she wrote. In another post on the agitation over the NEET paper leak, Kangana said the protesters "look and behave like" cockroaches and wrote that there was "no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness". She again said the videos had left her "scarred" and that she needed "some healing" and a "digital detox".- EndsPublished By: Priyanka SharmaPublished On: Jul 29, 2026 12:27 IST
