Light showers continued in a few parts of the city on Tuesday afternoon, although the rainfall remained localised and of low intensity.Hyderabad rain dataAccording to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Shamshabad recorded the highest rainfall of 3.4 cm followed by 3 cm in Mamidipalli, 3 cm in Kongarkalan, 2.3 cm in Banjara Hills, 2.2 cm in Hafeezpet, 2.1 cm in Madhapur, 2 cm in West Maredpally, 1.9 cm in Miyapur and 1.9 cm in Chandanagar. The highest rainfall of 12.4 cm was recorded in Kotapally (Mancherial) followed by 12.3 cm in Jankapur (Mancherial), 12 cm in Tandur (Mancherial), 11.3 cm in Devulawada (Mancherial), 10.9 cm in Kamanpur (Peddapalli), 10.4 cm in Venkatapur (Mulugu) and 9.6 cm in Peddampet (Jayashankar Bhupalplly).Hyderabad weather forecastThe India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its weather forecast issued on July 20, had predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas on July 21.
